  • MSR Blog: a series on the new in AI research including this piece on Microsoft’s collaboration with the UN Office on Migration to support its counter-trafficking measures, and this piece on the Microsoft Research Climate Initiative.

  • MSR Summit: a 2022 gathering of academia and research professionals. Wrote speeches for Sharon Gillett on subjects related to technology’s role in environmental sustainability. This blog post announces her group’s work.   

  • Big Bets and Breakthroughs Podcast: VP Ashley Llorens on AI societal impact: human-computer interaction, environmental sustainability, and the science of decision making. This podcast was canceled. Episode recordings available on request!

  • DataRobot Financial Services: a datasheet (edited) profiling common, high-ROI opportunities to deploy AI for a fintech audience including investment banks, asset managers, and wealth managers

  • Defined cohesive brand story across web channels and media affiliates resulting in deeper audience engagement through a better user experience and clearer calls to action 

  • Secured high-impact coverage from tech, culinary, maker and start-up media outlets, working with journalists to guide narrative and align with the ChefSteps story

  • Feature-length articles on Saveur, New York Times, TIME Magazine, GeekWire, and HuffPo, and established syndication partnerships with FoodRepublic, Martha Stewart, and Food+Wine

2013-2015

  • ​Gigapixel ArtZoom­­ was a Microsoft Research-funded project to illustrate and build excitement around its new imaging technologies leveraging the Seattle Artist Community.

  • Oversaw production for simultaneous performances of 100+ artists, press engagement, and a community launch event for this break-neck speed project.

  • Generated 450K website visitors in the first ten days of launch. Secured press (Fast Company, HuffPost, Daily Telegraph) and municipal partnerships (Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, SAM, Pacific Science Center) .​
